Introducing Solstice,a cutting-edge multi-aperture side-scan sonar system designed for Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs),Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs),and towfish platforms.With an impressive swath coverage of 200 meters, it seamlessly integrates side-scan imagery with bathymetric data, offering exceptional imaging performance across expansive areas.

This adaptable system is straightforward to install and operates on a mere 18 watts of power, making it an excellent choice for systems constrained by size, weight, and power (SWaP) requirements, while ensuring minimal impact on operational endurance.

Solstice effectively accounts for platform movements such as yaw, pitch, and roll, which helps to minimize coverage gaps and generate clear, distortion-free images. Additionally, it employs advanced dynamic real-time array recalibration to counteract non-linear effects, ensuring precise alignment for high-fidelity imagery.


Advanced Multi-Aperture Sonar for ROV, AUV & Towfish

Utilizing innovative back-projection beam-forming technology, solstice meticulously focuses on each pixel within teh image. By considering platform dynamics like yaw, pitch, and roll, it significantly reduces coverage gaps and enhances image clarity.

The sonar system also features dynamic real-time calibration for each hydrophone element, updating multiple times per second to adjust for non-linear effects, thereby providing the exact alignment necessary for high-precision imagery.
