The Maritime Display Framework is an innovative software development toolkit built on the Windows C# .NET platform. It empowers developers to design tailored user interfaces for ARPA, ECDIS, and Integrated Bridge systems, enabling the visualization of essential maritime radar data alongside secondary transponder details.

This versatile user interface can be adapted to showcase scan-converted primary radar imagery, track data, electronic navigational charts, secondary transponder inputs, and live camera feeds. It accommodates multiple camera views wiht diverse input formats, including H.264 through RTSP streaming. Additionally, track data can be seamlessly integrated from the SPx Server radar video processing system, along with AIS (Automatic Identification System) reports.

The toolkit offers a extensive suite of functionalities for processing critical facts needed for maritime displays. This includes the generation of predictive vectors, the calculation of a tracked object’s closest point of approach (CPA), and the time to CPA (TCPA), which serves as a collision warning mechanism with other vessels. Users can incorporate a wide array of alarms into their displays, such as target track alerts and dependencies based on factors like hazardous cargo status provided through AIS.

Moreover, the software is compatible with a range of top-tier radar systems, including those from renowned manufacturers such as Furuno, Hensoldt, JRC, Raymarine, Simrad, Sperry, and Terma.
