The Voyis discovery Stereo is an innovative compact stereo camera system designed for underwater 3D modeling and advanced computer vision applications. This platform excels in real-time image enhancement, offers 4K video streaming capabilities, and generates point clouds through its onboard edge computing technology.
Equipped with integrated Nova Mini lights, the Discovery Stereo provides an notable illumination of up to 250,000 lumens, making it ideal for low-visibility underwater environments. The camera captures high-resolution still images at 8.1MP,achieving frame rates of up to 30 FPS. It also outputs depth maps and point clouds via an API, supporting a data-centric DDS architecture for seamless integration.
Utilizing EIVA’s VSLAM software, this system facilitates real-time 3D reconstruction and coverage mapping, essential for inspection and navigation tasks. The outputs include both raw and processed images, video footage, IMU data, and complete 3D spatial details. The Discovery Stereo is compatible with both light and work-class ROVs, making it suitable for various applications, including vehicle autonomy, quality assurance, and general subsea survey operations.
