The HARRIER S200 ground-based sense-and-avoid (GBSAA) system is based on DeTect’s proven Air Surveillance Radar technology, and is designed to provide long-range airspace monitoring capabilities for beyond visual line-of-sight (BVLOS) UAVs. Utilizing solid-state Doppler S- or X-band radar, the system detects transponder-equipped cooperative UAS as well as non-cooperative manned and unmanned aircraft at ranges of up to 20 miles.
The HARRIER S200 is available in highly customizable fixed and mobile configurations for buildings, towers, trucks, trailers and other use cases. The system supports Secondary Traffic Advisory System (TAS) and Automatic Dependent Surveillance–Broadcast (ADS-B), and users can define flexible risk alert zones and intrusion perimeters. Information can be relayed in real time to multiple devices including phones, tablets and PCs.
