Introducing the TAC-440: The Compact Tactical-Grade IMU

The TAC-440 stands out as the most compact tactical-grade Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) available, boasting a size of under 5 cubic inches and a lightweight design of merely 0.5 lbs. This device serves as a direct replacement for the Honeywell 1930 and 4930 models, making it an excellent choice for critical drone and robotics operations in demanding environments.

Durability and Reliability

Engineered for resilience, the TAC-440 incorporates solid-state quartz sensors, robust electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding, and a hermetically sealed structure. These features collectively enhance its durability and reliability, ensuring optimal performance even in the most challenging conditions. Additionally, the unit is equipped with continuous Built-in Test (BIT) functionalities and customizable communication protocols.

Advanced Synchronization Options

The TAC-440 offers four distinct methods for data message synchronization. Users can choose to have the synchronization pulse generated internally, which is then output as a Time of Validity (TOV) for the data, or allow the internal software to detect an external pulse input to synchronize the output data accordingly.
