The Ellipse-D represents a sophisticated Inertial Navigation System, featuring a compact design and an integrated dual-antenna RTK GNSS receiver, ensuring precise heading and navigation capabilities. It delivers essential data including Roll, Pitch, Heading, Heave, and Navigation metrics.

Equipped with a MEMS-based Inertial Measurement unit (IMU), the Ellipse-D utilizes an advanced Extended Kalman filter (EKF) to seamlessly combine inertial and GNSS data.Additionally,it can incorporate odometer readings and RTK corrections as supplementary inputs to further refine its navigation accuracy.

Performance Metrics:

  • Roll and Pitch accuracy of 0.05° across a full 360° (RTK)
  • Heading precision of 0.2° (utilizing Dual Antenna RTK GNSS)
  • Real-time Heave measurement within 5 cm, adjusted for wave periods
  • RTK GNSS Positioning accuracy of 1 cm / Optional Post-processing Positioning
