The DNx-429-516 series from UEI delivers robust ARINC 429 communication across flight-certified systems with flexible deployment in Cube, RACKtangle, and FLATRACK chassis. Each variant—DNA-429-516, DNF-429-516, and DNR-429-516—provides 16 TX/RX channels and 8 additional dedicated RX lines, all fully isolated in groups of three at 350 Vrms for dependable signal separation. Guardian Series diagnostics uniquely allow real-time verification of transmitted data via integrated RXs on each TX channel, ensuring line-level accuracy even in high-throughput aerospace environments.
Channel speeds are software-selectable from 12.5 to 100 kHz, with backward compatibility for legacy protocols. Advanced features include label-specific filtering, TX scheduling up to 256 entries with 100 µs resolution, and dynamic transmission prioritization. Asynchronous messaging integrates with deterministic ARINC-615 support, while on-board 256-word FIFOs preserve data integrity under full-bandwidth conditions. With seamless compatibility across UEI’s UEIPAC ecosystem and software tools including LabVIEW, MATLAB/Simulink, QNX, and VxWorks, the DNx-429-516 series is optimized for real-time avionics test, simulation, and deployment tasks in crewed or uncrewed aerial systems.
