The 3DM-GV7-INS is a tactical-grade inertial navigation system packaged in a rugged IP68-rated enclosure and incorporating proven low-noise and high-stability MEMS gyro and accelerometer technology. With the same compact footprint and precision mounting holes as the GX5 family, it is ideal for a wide variety of drone and robotics designs as well as for upgrading legacy platforms. It features an integrated magnetometer and provides inputs for external position and velocity sources.

The robust unit utilizes auto-adaptive Kalman Filter algorithms for enhanced performance under highly dynamic conditions, and also incorporates auto self-calibration and automatic anomaly rejection. A built-in custom event triggering system simplifies configuration of context-based events and frees up processing resources on the main vehicle controller.
