Dynamic Balancing Made Easy with Tyto Robotics’ Propeller Balancer

Experience the precision of ISO 21940-11 dynamic balancing through the innovative Propeller Balancer from Tyto Robotics, integrated into the Flight Stand series. This advanced tool is specifically crafted for professional UAV motor testing settings, utilizing high-resolution RPM sensors and onboard accelerometers for vibration detection. This combination allows for the accurate identification and rectification of imbalances in propellers, ensuring optimal performance. Users can achieve dynamic balancing in three straightforward steps: establishing a baseline spin, calibrating trial weights, and verifying corrections. This process accommodates propeller diameters as specified by the respective Flight Stand model, ranging from lightweight multirotor blades to larger fixed-wing designs.

Seamless Integration and Performance

This module is activated via software and integrates effortlessly into Tyto’s comprehensive thrust measurement system. it supports balancing across a broad RPM spectrum of 200 to 15,000, employing a correction method that involves adding weight. Vibration data is recorded at frequencies of up to 800 Hz,making it ideal for indoor use. This tool is invaluable for drone developers, propulsion engineers, and system integrators aiming to boost flight efficiency, decrease noise levels, and reduce mechanical wear. Note that a separate software license is required for propeller balancing, which can be acquired through Tyto Robotics.
