Introducing the LMA501 DC-DC converter by Aegis Power Systems
aegis Power Systems,Inc., renowned for it’s innovative custom power supply solutions, has unveiled its newest DC-DC converter, the LMA501. This device is engineered for optimal performance in compact applications that operate in demanding environments.
The LMA501 serves as a commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) military power supply, offering impressive power output and efficiency within a streamlined, easily mountable design.Capable of delivering 750W with a typical efficiency of 93%, the LMA501 is intended to complement the aegis Power Systems VME550 series of 28Vdc rack-mounted power cards. Furthermore, it can be configured to provide various output voltages, including 12Vdc, 24Vdc, and 48Vdc, and can be paralleled to achieve even greater power outputs.
Measuring a compact 4.5″ x 6″ x 0.75″, the cold plate-cooled LMA501 is ideal for integration into a wide range of compact devices, such as unmanned aerial vehicles, robotics, and military equipment. This robust DC-DC converter is also designed to comply with certain aspects of MIL-STD-810F standards for vibration and shock,as well as portions of the MIL-STD-461E electromagnetic interference (EMI) requirements.
