the integration of these lightweight battery cells is anticipated to significantly extend the operational time of the advanced aviation system. Reports suggest that the Block 20 system could see an increase in flight duration by over 50%, thereby enhancing its endurance and loitering capabilities.

Since 2022,Amprius has been supplying battery cells to AeroVironment and is committed to fulfilling additional future orders. AeroVironment is actively incorporating Amprius technology into various defense products and has also invested strategically in the company.
