Amprius Technologies to Supply Advanced Battery Solutions for AeroVironment

Amprius Technologies, Inc. is set to commence large-scale deliveries of high-performance lithium-ion battery cells to AeroVironment, specifically for the latest iteration of the Switchblade 300 Block 20 system.

the integration of these lightweight battery cells is anticipated to significantly extend the operational time of the advanced aviation system. Reports suggest that the Block 20 system could see an increase in flight duration by over 50%, thereby enhancing its endurance and loitering capabilities.

Ongoing Collaboration and Future Commitments

Since 2022,Amprius has been supplying battery cells to AeroVironment and is committed to fulfilling additional future orders. AeroVironment is actively incorporating Amprius technology into various defense products and has also invested strategically in the company.
