Ariel Uncrewed Surface Vessels

Ariel is a versatile and cost-effective uncrewed surface vehicle platform that is designed to be rapidly manufactured and potentially used as a disposable asset. It can serve in a variety of roles including payload delivery, ISR and training.

The highly interoperable and easily reconfigurable system can be equipped with a range of radio, communication and control options, and can also be deployed in swarms. The vessel is also able to operate discreetly without emitting radio signals, making it ideal for stealth operations.

In addition to the standard platform, two specialist variants of Ariel are also available:

Sonar Ariel – equipped with real-time sidewards and downwards sonar imaging capabilities for underwater reconnaissance

Sonobuoy Ariel – combines two Ariels into a pontoon platform hosting a reloadable Class A sonobuoy for anti-submarine warfare
