Ascent AeroSystems has unveiled the launch of RemoteID functionalities for its Spirit adn NX30 small Unmanned Aerial Systems (sUAS) platforms, effective instantly.
The company asserts that its RemoteID solution not only meets but surpasses all ASTM and FCC compliance standards, is compliant with the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), and will be integrated into both current and future product lines. Additionally, retrofitting options for previously delivered Ascent AeroSystems UAS will be available starting in the first quarter of 2023.
“For small UAS operations to evolve into efficient networks, two essential elements are required,” stated Peter Fuchs, CEO of Ascent AeroSystems.“Firstly, operators need a dependable aircraft capable of functioning reliably in challenging, real-world conditions. Our coaxial platforms are specifically engineered for such environments. Secondly, a consistent and well-defined regulatory framework is crucial. By ensuring that all our newly delivered systems are compliant from the outset, our clients can confidently demonstrate their adherence to these safety requirements.”
“As of September 15, all systems dispatched by Ascent AeroSystems will fully comply with the FAA’s Broadcast RemoteID mandate,” announced Bobby Sakaki, Head of Product. “We are proud to be the first Blue sUAS-certified Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) to achieve full compliance.”
“Our platforms offer industry-leading reliability and performance, which is vital for our diverse clientele, including public safety organizations, enterprise operators, and drone service providers,” emphasized Paul Fermo, VP of Business Progress. “To validate business models for applications such as Drone as First Responder (DFR), drone delivery, and other enterprise services, customers require a robust platform that not only performs effectively but also adheres to emerging regulations. Ascent AeroSystems delivers those essential solutions.”
