Persistent Systems, an innovative technology firm specializing in critical interaction solutions, is set to showcase it’s cutting-edge advancements in machine-to-machine communication at the AUVSI 2013 conference.
At booth 3043 during the AUVSI Unmanned Systems Conference in Washington D.C., from August 12-15, the company will present its Mobile Ad-Hoc networking (MANET) solution, the Wave relay® product suite. This technology establishes a rapidly adaptable network that ensures uninterrupted connectivity for each transceiver node, whether on land, at sea, or in the air, even under the harshest conditions.
“The AUVSI conference stands as the premier global event dedicated to the unmanned systems and robotics sector,” states Dr. Herbert H. Rubens,co-founder and CEO of Persistent Systems. “We are eager to demonstrate our capabilities and distinctive technologies that consistently surpass our clients’ expectations in real-world applications. Our Wave Relay® product line offers a secure and authentic mobile ad hoc networking system capable of supporting data, voice, video, and other demanding applications in the most challenging environments. We anticipate strengthening existing partnerships and forging new connections during this international gathering.”
HIGHLIGHTING WAVE RELAY AT AUVSI 2013:
In the realm of technology, size dose not always equate to superiority, and the Persistent Systems team exemplifies that significant innovations can come in compact forms. The company is excited to introduce the Gen4 Integration board from its Wave Relay® technology series.
This unit delivers ample bandwidth for command and control, video streaming, voice communication, and sensor management, all within its leading MANET networking protocols.“Users and system developers are enhancing their systems by integrating Wave Relay® in scenarios that demand scalable,secure,low-latency communication for high-bandwidth applications,” notes Adrien Robenhymer,Vice President of Business Advancement and Marketing.
As the number of unmanned vehicles, both terrestrial and aerial, continues to rise, Persistent Systems has adapted its product offerings to include the compact Gen 4 Integration board. This small device can be seamlessly integrated into any vehicle or ground station while fully leveraging the groundbreaking Wave Relay® MANET technology.
“With the U.S. Defense Department increasingly depending on unmanned vehicles, there is a pressing need for improved control and communication methods,” adds Dr. Rubens. “The Persistent Systems team is dedicated to innovating products and technologies that meet these demands, and we are proud to present this revolutionary compact radio board.”
The Gen4 (MPU4) is a compact radio designed for installation or wearable applications. Its seamless Layer-2 Ethernet connectivity allows for plug-and-play operation with cameras, video encoders,IP sensors, and other devices. The device can be easily integrated into avionics bays, vehicles, machinery, and various third-party systems.
