Introducing the Tyton VS2X: A Robust Video Encoding Solution for Military Applications
The Tyton VS2X stands out as a compact, independent 3U VPX solution for encoding and streaming video and audio, specifically tailored for military UAV operations in demanding environments. This device is capable of together encoding and streaming four video inputs, which can be 3G/HD/SD-SDI or CVBS (NTSC/PAL). Additionally, it can integrate CoT/KLV or SDI VANC KLV metadata along with two stereo audio inputs. The encoded video streams can be transmitted concurrently via a 1 Gbps Ethernet connection and an optional USB 3.0 interface.

Engineered for resilience, the Tyton VS2X is encased in an enclosure rated IP67 and compliant with MIL-STD-810 standards. It is equipped with military-grade connectors and power interfaces, ensuring reliable performance in the field.
