Boosting Cognitive SDR Features for Effective Electronic Warfare Threat Defense

Creomagic's CSDR technology operates across two waveforms simultaneously, maximizing performance during EW blockages

Creomagic has announced enhancements to its cognitive software-defined radio (CSDR) technology, integrating advanced electronic warfare (EW) features that bolster reliable, secure, and resilient connectivity for critical operations involving unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and robotics in complex and crowded environments.

Recent military engagements have underscored critically important obstacles in tactical communications on contemporary battlefields. As autonomous systems become more widespread, the demand for enhanced situational awareness has surged, necessitating the transfer and synchronization of vast amounts of data. The capability to relay essential information and video in real-time requires robust network scalability, security, and high data rates, alongside an increasing imperative to counteract electronic warfare. In dynamic environments with moving units and contested frequencies, information must navigate through optimal pathways within a resilient network, free from disruptions and interference.

CreoNet CSDRs establish fully encrypted networks while continuously monitoring the electromagnetic spectrum and surrounding environment in real-time. This technology autonomously detects and identifies potential threats and interferences without requiring operator input, automatically selecting the most effective parameters to mitigate these challenges, thus ensuring consistent and reliable connectivity throughout the network.

Utilizing machine learning, Creomagic’s technology identifies patterns in the frequency spectrum that signal interference and othre noise sources. It then autonomously adjusts its parameters by switching to alternative frequencies, modulation techniques, or waveforms. This software leverages both the gathered information and environmental data to make strategic decisions, optimizing parameters and selecting the most suitable frequency.

CreoNet’s innovative EW capabilities function across two simultaneous waveforms, creating dual tactical zones: one dedicated to broadband data transmission and another that remains stealthy and immune for tactical awareness. This dual-waveform strategy facilitates seamless transitions between the two, enhancing performance even in the face of electronic warfare disruptions.

Alexander Shapochnik, CEO of Creomagic, stated: “Our ability to operate across multiple simultaneous waveforms allows us to tackle the most pressing challenges in modern tactical communication affordably, ensuring continuity while minimizing the likelihood of detection and interference. Our solutions thrive in highly demanding and unpredictable environments, such as electronic warfare and congested frequency areas, thereby enhancing operational effectiveness and providing a strategic advantage.”
