Cambridge Pixel Collaborates with Elcome for Enhanced Offshore Security
Cambridge pixel has joined forces with Elcome (India) to deliver advanced radar tracking, recording, and visualization technologies aimed at bolstering security for offshore oil and gas platforms operated by Reliance Industries.
Thorough Multi-Sensor Security Solution
This integrated system offers a robust multi-sensor security framework, utilizing Cambridge Pixel’s SPx server to process radar signals and produce precise tracking data. The SPx Fusion component further amplifies situational awareness by merging track detections from two separate radars with AIS (Automatic Identification System) data, creating a unified threat assessment feed.
Real-Time Monitoring and Response
The consolidated data is presented through Cambridge Pixel’s RadarWatch request, allowing operators to oversee vessel movements on an electronic chart backdrop. RadarWatch is equipped with customizable alarm features based on user-defined criteria. Additionally, cameras can be automatically directed to follow targets, enabling security teams to react swiftly to potential threats. in multi-operator settings, multicast data transmission over standard network infrastructure allows each user to choose their preferred display of tracks and sensor information.
Advanced data Recording and Analysis
Included in the package is Cambridge Pixel’s RDR Data Recorder application, which facilitates the thorough capture of radar video, tracking data, and camera footage into multi-channel recordings with timestamps. This tool features built-in archiving, automatic deletion, and comprehensive replay capabilities, making it an invaluable resource for post-event analysis and investigations.
Ensuring Reliability and Availability
To maintain the necesary operational reliability, both SPx Server and SPx Fusion are designed to support failover operations. Secondary instances operate on a separate processor in a hot standby mode, ready to take over seamlessly in case of an application failure.
