Domo Tactical Communications (DTC) has been acquired by Codan Limited, a company renowned for its expertise in radio technology. This acquisition involved Codan purchasing all shares of DTC from DTC Management topco, LP, a limited partnership overseen by Marlin equity Partners.
DTC specializes in the advancement of advanced tactical IP mesh technology and COFDM video transmission systems tailored for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs),unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs),and various other unmanned systems.The company is especially noted for its innovative solutions in MIMO Mesh networking.
The acquisition deal was valued at an initial cash payment of USD $88 million (around AUD $114 million), with the potential for an additional payment of up to USD $16 million contingent upon meeting specific performance targets in the calendar year 2021.
