The Compact Fly-By-Wire system utilizes the latest in electronic processing technology to provide an electronic replacement for manual flight controls in a package smaller than a hardcover book. With a triple-redundant architecture and advanced lockstep processing, it provides the utmost in safety and performance for UAVs and UAM (urban air mobility) platforms.

The FBW system ensures that control is seamlessly transferred to another channel in the event of any possible failure. It can also provide envelope limiting, which controls the aircraft within a safe operating envelope even if a pilot becomes disoriented. Turbulence and wind is automatically adjusted for, providing superior stability and enabling high-precision takeoff and landing.

The compact size and light weight mean greater flexibility for aircraft designers, as well as lower fuel consumption and greater cost saving. The “cable-less avionics” approach also reduces required maintenance and overhaul, as well as simplifying design, production and development.
