D1-X Multirotor Drone

The D1-X is a versatile and efficient heavy-lift quadcopter drone with a carrying capacity of 40 lbs. Featuring simultaneously usable top and bottom payload rails for maximum versatility, the unique airframe is designed to carry its batteries internally and perfectly centered to all three axes, ensuring optimal flight dynamics and performance. This arrangement also allows the aircraft to be quickly stowed inside its carrying case without needing to remove the batteries.

Both arms and landing gear are foldable for maximum portability, and the latter can be optionally removed to allow use of Copterworks’ range of quick-disconnect payload accessories, which are currently under development. All onboard electronics are housed within three sealed compartments, providing reliable protection against moisture, dust, and challenging weather.

Almost all electronic components are high-quality and easily available COTS items, allowing many DIY repairs to be easily performed by the operator with minimal downtime. The complete D1-X package includes an Orange Cube flight controller and Herelink GCS as standard, with the following options available upon request:

  • Flight Controllers – Pixhawk Blue Cube or Auterion Skynode
  • Handheld Transmitter/Receiver: Herelink Blue or Skydroid H16 Pro
