Product Features
Advanced ROV robot technology for intelligent integration
Our advanced underwater ROVs are powered by BRIDGE technology, a proprietary hardware and software framework that leverages multi-core processing to provide a set of high-tech features seamlessly across all our robotic platforms.
BRIDGE is an architecture framework that combines hardware and software to facilitate the expansion of capabilities and enable seamless communication between the ROV (remotely operated vehicle), its controller, and 3rd party sensors and tools. Featuring teleoperation capabilities, advanced data capture, autonomous navigation, and more.
This framework integrates with the BRIDGE Box hardware to ensure clear communication between the controller and robots. It utilizes algorithms to ensure low latency, enabling real-time control with virtually no input lag.

BRIDGE Console: All-in-One Control Station for ROVs
The BRIDGE Console is a comprehensive control solution for ROVs, featuring an 18.5″ HD touchscreen, programmable buttons and dials and a keyboard all encased in a rugged weatherproof Pelican enclosure.
The highly portable system offers an intuitive user interface and allows operators to monitor sonar and map data alongside live video feeds, ensuring optimal efficiency and situational awareness. It is ideal for a variety of complex applications such as subsea inspection, search and recovery, and EOD/mine countermeasures.
High Definition Data Capture
Deep Trekker’s Enhanced 4K Camera delivers sharp, detailed imagery for underwater inspections, aided by built-in features such as a turbidity filter, digital zoom, auto white balance, and real-time image correction. Advanced processing through the BRIDGE platform ensures consistent image quality in varying conditions.
Included as standard on PHOTON, PIVOT, and REVOLUTION systems – and available as an upgrade for DTG3 – the camera provides high-definition visuals both at range and during close-up inspections. Designed specifically for underwater applications, it outperforms generic HD cameras in clarity, contrast, and precision targeting.
Key Features:
- Auto White Balance – Capture clear imagery with BRIDGE’s automatic color correction and white balancing algorithms.
- Digital Zoom – Focus on fine details with precise digital zoom, allowing closer inspection without repositioning the ROV.
- Low-Light Performance – High-sensitivity cameras designed to capture clear imagery in dark or low-visibility underwater environments.
- Turbidity Filtering – Automatic image adjustments that reduce the impact of murky water, improving visibility and effectiveness in low-clarity conditions.
- Photogrammetry Out-of-the-Box – Built-in tools like auto-snapshot and motion blur reduction allow operators to capture high-quality images optimized for generating accurate 3D models.
Easy-to-Use Handheld Controller With Multi-Feed Display

Dead Reckoning
Maintain accurate navigation in GPS- and acoustic-denied environments with Deep Trekker’s Dead Reckoning capabilities. By leveraging onboard IMUs and DVLs, the system calculates real-time position estimates based on known velocity and heading – allowing the ROV to continue along a mission path even when external signals are temporarily lost.
Dead Reckoning ensures continuity during tunnel inspections, under-structure surveys, or operations near steel or concrete that block acoustic signals. When the vehicle regains contact with USBL or GPS references, its position is automatically corrected, maintaining the integrity of your recorded track.
ROV GPS
Track surface position of the vehicle in real time with Deep Trekker’s integrated ROV GPS module.
Mounted on top of the ROV, the GPS receiver provides a live surface fix whenever the vehicle is above the waterline, transmitting position data to the BRIDGE software interface.
ROV GPS is especially useful for shallow water or nearshore operations, enabling accurate logging of inspection routes and simplifying return-to-location workflows for repeated surveys or structure monitoring.
Automatic Distance Lock
The Distance Lock module is specifically designed for our REVOLUTION and PIVOT ROVs, enabling the vehicles to maintain a consistent distance from vertical surfaces such as ship hulls and underwater structures without the need for continual manual adjustments. The compact sensor provides locking ranges from 0.5 to 10 meters, and works at depths of down to 300 meters.
ROV Automatic Distance LockThe easy-to-integrate module operates at a 500kHz CHIRP frequency, and is ideal for reducing operator fatigue and enhancing efficiency in a variety of applications where consistent proximity to a surface is critical, including:
- Hydroelectric dam and nuclear facility inspections
- Sea wall and ship hull inspections
- Civil engineering and infrastructure
