In a groundbreaking achievement, DeltaQuad, in collaboration with Tulip Tech, has recorded an notable flight endurance of 8 hours and 55 seconds with the DeltaQuad Evo, a fully electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) powered by advanced solid-state lithium-metal batteries.

Resilience in Challenging Conditions

Despite facing adverse weather, including rain and wind gusts of up to 22 knots, the DeltaQuad Evo successfully navigated a distance exceeding 500 kilometers, concluding the test flight with significant battery life remaining. This performance highlights the UAV’s robustness and operational efficiency in real-world conditions.

This milestone positions the DeltaQuad Evo within the endurance capabilities of Group 3 drones while maintaining the lightweight and compact design characteristic of Group 1 UAVs.
