Tronics Microsystems Launches Full Production of Advanced MEMS Accelerometers
In February, Tronics Microsystems unveiled the expansion of its AXO®300 accelerometer series, and now the company has successfully transitioned its AXO®301 and AXO®305 MEMS accelerometers into full-scale production.
These accelerometers, featuring a compact SMD design, a 24-bit SPI interface, and energy-efficient operation, present a digital, economical, and low-SWaP (Size, Weight, and Power) choice to traditional, larger, and more power-hungry analog solutions, such as tactical-grade quartz accelerometers.
AXO®301: Precision MEMS Accelerometer and Inclinometer
the AXO®301 is specifically engineered for high-resolution industrial inclinometers and railway applications, delivering precise acceleration and deceleration data for high-vibration environments, including unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs), land robotics, and automated train systems.
- Measurement range: ±1 g
- Broadband resolution: 50 µg
AXO®305: High-Performance MEMS Accelerometer for Navigation
Designed as a superior alternative to larger and more expensive quartz accelerometers, the AXO®305 is optimized for navigation, positioning, and motion control in various applications, including land, marine, and subsea environments, such as ship motion control and autonomous vessel navigation.
- Measurement range: ±5 g
- composite bias repeatability: 1 mg
