Showcasing Cutting-Edge Inertial Technologies at Space tech Expo
This month, Silicon Sensing Systems is set to unveil four innovative inertial products tailored for the space industry at the Space Tech Expo in Bremen, germany.
Silicon Sensing’s advanced inertial solutions designed for space applications.
Revolutionary MEMS Solutions
The showcased micro electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) provide a lightweight and durable alternative to traditional fiber optic or dynamically tuned gyro systems. These products excel in angle random walk, bias instability, and low noise performance, all while demonstrating exceptional shock resistance.
Product Lineup
- CRH03: A compact, standalone single-axis gyro.
- RPU30: A robust, three-axis gyroscope ideal for applications that do not require linear acceleration measurements.
- IMU20: A highly resilient six degrees of freedom (DoF) inertial measurement unit (IMU) designed for extreme impact and vibration conditions.
- DMU41: A compact nine DoF IMU, recognized as the top-performing silicon MEMS IMU currently available.
tailored Performance and Versatility
All products leverage silicon Sensing’s renowned resonating ring gyroscopes, with the IMUs also incorporating the company’s leading accelerometers. Each device can be customized to meet specific operational needs, and most are offered as either original equipment manufacturer (OEM) or packaged solutions.
Meeting industry Demands
“These non-ITAR products are designed to fulfill motion sensing needs across the launch vehicle and small satellite sectors, ensuring ultra-reliable performance in the most challenging environments, especially where space and power are limited,” stated Steve Capers, General manager of Silicon Sensing.
