The Ellipse-E is a compact, high-performance Inertial Navigation System (INS) designed to deliver precise Roll, Pitch, Heading, and Heave measurements. When paired with an external GNSS receiver, it effectively computes navigation data, while also incorporating Odometer assistance to ensure optimal accuracy in automotive applications.

Weighing just 49 grams, this lightweight sensor features a MEMS-based Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) and operates using an advanced Extended Kalman Filter (EKF). This technology integrates inertial data with supplementary details to yield accurate real-time orientation and navigation insights.

Extraordinary Precision in a Compact Design:

  • Achieves Roll and Pitch accuracy of up to 0.05° across 360° (RTK)
  • Delivers Heading precision of up to 0.2° (RTK)
  • Provides real-time Heave measurements within 5 cm, adjusted for wave periods
  • Offers positional accuracy of up to 1 cm
