Discover the ME120: The Cutting-Edge Hydrographic Unmanned Survey Vessel

The ME120 is engineered for independent hydrographic and oceanographic assessments. With its autonomous navigation capabilities and advanced obstacle detection, the ME120 unmanned surface vehicle (USV) can perform surveys autonomously, delivering real-time data and long-range video monitoring.

This versatile catamaran design allows for straightforward assembly and disassembly, making it transportable by van. It is indeed compatible with various small multibeam sonars and other surveying tools, enabling operators to swiftly switch and install different instruments during operations.

① Effortless Assembly and Transport

The ME120 features a modular catamaran structure, facilitating easy transport in a van and allowing two individuals to assemble or disassemble it with minimal effort.

② optimized for Compact Multibeam Sonars

This USV is specifically tailored for smaller multibeam sonars, side-scan sonars, and other compact surveying instruments.

  • Singlebeam echo sounder
  • multibeam echo sounder
  • ADCP
  • 3D LiDAR scanner
  • Side-scan sonar
  • forward-looking sonar
  • Water quality sonde

③ Interchangeable equipment Cabin

The ME120’s payload cabin is designed to be interchangeable, allowing users to easily modify and install various instruments based on specific mission needs.

④ Automated Mission Planning

  • Users can pre-set survey missions from a base station onshore. The USV, along with its instruments, can execute surveys autonomously while transmitting real-time data. Additionally, users have the option to manually control the USV via a remote controller.

⑤ Smart collision Avoidance

  • Equipped with ultrasonic sensors, the ME120 can detect obstacles up to 40 meters ahead, ensuring safe navigation in autopilot mode.
  • When operated manually, users can monitor the aquatic environment through a live video feed, enhancing their ability to avoid obstacles.
