Introducing the MS400U: A Compact Multibeam Echo Sounder for Unmanned Surface Vehicles
The MS400U stands out as a compact multibeam echo sounder, meticulously engineered for small unmanned surface vehicles (USVs) and various surface platforms. This innovative device incorporates an integrated surface sound velocity profiler alongside the Applanix POS MV SurfMaster marine inertial sensor, making it exceptionally suited for mapping underwater landscapes and aquatic environments, including lakes, reservoirs, and rivers.
Advanced Technology for Enhanced Performance
Designed to handle the significant attitude variations typical of smaller unmanned vessels, the MS400U employs 512 acoustic beams and advanced dynamically-focused beamforming technology. This ensures precise data collection and meets the rigorous accuracy standards set by the International Hydrographic Organization (IHO) for hydrographic surveys, as well as adhering to China’s national Hydrographic Survey Code.
