Introducing the XPedite6107 by Extreme Engineering Solutions (X-ES), a robust, compact, and budget-friendly conduction-cooled XMC/PrPMC module that utilizes NXP’s (previously Freescale) QorIQ T2081, T1042, or T1022 processors.
This module is engineered for high-performance embedded systems, making it particularly suitable for environments where space is limited and reliability is paramount.

Processor Options
The XPedite6107 offers a variety of processor configurations, extensive I/O options, and supports up to 8 GB of DDR3 ECC SDRAM.
When equipped with the T2081 processor, it achieves peak performance through eight virtual (four dual-threaded) e6500 cores operating at speeds of up to 1.8 GHz. each e6500 core is integrated with an NXP AltiVec technology-based SIMD engine, providing DSP-level floating-point capabilities and access to a comprehensive suite of software tools.
For applications requiring lower power consumption, the T1042 processor features four e5500 cores running at a maximum of 1.4 GHz. Meanwhile, the T1022 is designed for ultra-low power needs, offering two e5500 cores, also clocked at up to 1.4 GHz.
System Architecture Overview
Software Compatibility
Comprehensive Board Support Packages (BSPs) are available for Wind River VxWorks, Linux, and Green Hills INTEGRITY. The BSPs for Wind River VxWorks and Linux can be optionally paired with NXP hypervisor software to enable secure partitioning.
