EIZO Rugged Solutions Inc., a prominent name in ruggedized AI-enhanced video and graphics processing hardware, has unveiled its support for NVIDIA Blackwell within the Condor GR5SL series.

Overview of the Condor GR5SL Series

This innovative series features two new SOSA-compliant 3U VPX video graphics cards tailored for high-performance embedded (HPE) applications: the Condor GR5SL-B5000 and Condor GR5SL-B4000.

Alignment with SOSA® Technical Standards

Engineered in accordance with the SOSA® Technical Standard, the Condor GR5SL Series guarantees interoperability, scalability, and exceptional performance for contemporary C5ISR and high-performance embedded computing (HPEC) applications.

Enhanced Thermal Management

The series boasts a cutting-edge thermal design that considerably boosts efficiency and minimizes throttling, ensuring reliable performance across a wide range of temperatures. To cater to various thermal needs,the cards are available in both conduction-cooled (CC) [VITA 48.2] and Air Flow-Through (AFT) [VITA 48.8] configurations.

Innovations in NVIDIA Blackwell Architecture

The NVIDIA Blackwell architecture introduces remarkable enhancements in compute performance for HPE applications, featuring GDDR7 graphics memory, PCI Express Gen 5 support, advanced Blackwell CUDA cores, and fifth-generation Tensor Cores alongside fourth-generation RT cores.

As the first architecture to integrate GDDR7 in embedded systems, NVIDIA Blackwell delivers outstanding memory bandwidth and efficiency, making it ideal for intensive ISR computing tasks.

AI and Real-Time Processing Capabilities

the fifth-generation Tensor Cores are designed to accelerate AI tasks, including deep learning inference and data analytics, while the fourth-generation RT Cores provide exceptional real-time ray tracing capabilities.
