Ellipse-A AHRS

Ellipse-A is a small-sized high performance Attitude and Heading Reference System (AHRS). It provides Roll, Pitch, Heading, and Heave data.

This light-weight sensor (45 grams) includes a MEMS-based Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) integrating three gyroscopes, three magnetometers, and three accelerometers.


High Accuracy for Such a Small Sensor

  • 0.1° Roll and Pitch over 360°
  • 0.8° Heading (Internal Magnetometers)
  • 5 cm Real-time Heave, adjusted to the wave period (Marine applications)
