As a key participant in the consortium, embention is providing essential technologies that will expedite the airworthiness certification and operational readiness of the LOTUS UAV system.

Key Technological Contributions to the LOTUS UAV

Embention is tasked with supplying vital avionics hardware and embedded software solutions, all crafted to meet the rigorous reliability standards necessary for T-RPAS missions. A focal point of this initiative is the integration of Embention’s refined Veronte Autopilot and Ground Control station (GCS) technologies, which will be tailored to comply with strict certification standards.

The systems developed by Embention will conform to globally recognized aviation standards,including DO-254 (design assurance for airborne electronic hardware),DO-178C (software considerations in airborne systems),and DO-160 (environmental conditions and test procedures for airborne equipment). These contributions are crucial for positioning the LOTUS UAV as a certifiable, mission-ready platform capable of operating reliably in high-pressure environments.

Facilitating Airworthiness Certification in Europe

Within the ACTUS framework, Embention is at the forefront of efforts to achieve full airworthiness certification for the LOTUS platform.
