Embention in Collaboration for Drone-Powered Industrial Evolution

Embention spearheads the COLIBRÍ initiative, a project merging artificial intelligence, autonomous drones, and advanced tracking to transform industrial technological capabilities

Embention discusses the technological consortium the company is part of in the COLIBRÍ project, a logistics and production management framework, deploying autonomous drones and innovative tracking systems to transform industrial operations.

Supported by the Misiones Ciencia e Innovación 2021 program, this collaborative venture receives funding from CDTI and endorsement by the Ministry of Scientific Advancement, aiming to revolutionize operational efficiency through technological integration.

Strategic Partnership Ecosystem

The consortium assembles premier technological entities and equipment manufacturers, including Aerotecnic, Capgemini, Applus, ArcelorMittal, Deurser, Keonn, and Embention. Each participant contributes specialized expertise across artificial intelligence, sensing, cybersecurity, automation, and intelligent aerial vehicle development, forming a comprehensive solution-driven network.

Advanced Asset Tracking Methodology

COLIBRÍ’s core objective involves researching and synthesizing sophisticated technologies for intelligent asset management. By hybridizing physical and digital environments through advanced sensing, artificial intelligence, and digital twin implementations, the project emphasizes comprehensive industrial asset reliability and digital traceability throughout production lifecycles.

Innovative Autonomous Drone Architecture

A groundbreaking feature encompasses creating collaborative environments utilizing intelligent, interconnected industrial drones capable of autonomous indoor navigation. These technological marvels safely interact with human personnel and surrounding equipment, dramatically enhancing workflow optimization in complex industrial settings.

Embention’s Technological Contribution

Within the COLIBRÍ framework, Embention develops critical vision-based navigation algorithms enabling precise indoor drone localization without GPS dependencies. The organization implements advanced obstacle detection systems protecting personnel, other aerial vehicles, and surrounding infrastructure, significantly advancing industrial automation safety protocols.

Project Progression Milestones

Recently, consortium partners convened at Deuser’s Córdoba facilities, accompanied by CDTI representatives, to evaluate ongoing developments and strategize upcoming implementation phases. This collaborative assembly facilitated comprehensive progress reviews, ensuring strategic alignment and successful project completion.

As COLIBRÍ advances, participating organizations remain committed to pioneering technological solutions destined to transform future industrial landscapes.
