EMCORE Expands Horizons with Acquisition of KVH FOG & Inertial Navigation Systems Business

EMCORE has announced the acquisition of the Fiber Optic Gyroscope (FOG) and Inertial Navigation Systems business segment of KVH Industries

EMCORE Corporation, a prominent supplier of sophisticated mixed-signal solutions catering to the aerospace, defense, communications, and sensing sectors, has revealed its acquisition of the fiber Optic Gyroscope (FOG) and Inertial Navigation Systems division from KVH Industries, Inc.

This acquisition allows EMCORE to take over all intellectual property, assets, and liabilities associated with KVH’s FOG and Inertial Navigation Systems division, which includes a significant 100,384-square-foot manufacturing facility situated in Tinley Park, Illinois.
