Creomagic Ltd., an innovative communications manufacturer located in Israel, has secured a major contract with a confidential Tier-1 defense client to supply lightweight tactical video and communication systems specifically designed for K9 operations.
As experts in mobile broadband networking, creomagic stands out as a top developer of advanced cognitive wireless mesh technology solutions, which are essential for real-time, mission-critical applications. These solutions are integrated into various platforms, including UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles), UGVs (unmanned ground vehicles), and other robotic systems.
The newly developed K9 systems will facilitate live video and audio communication from K9 units to their handlers and team leaders, ensuring seamless near-real-time visuals and audio during critical situations such as hostage rescues, search and rescue operations, and other intricate missions.
This contract follows a rigorous evaluation campaign conducted in diverse operational environments, including residential areas, public facilities, urban markets, forests, basements, and mountainous terrains. Throughout these assessments, creomagic’s communication systems showcased remarkable low-latency video transmission, telemetry, and voice command capabilities.
