Innovative Training Initiative for HydroSurv’s REAV-16 USV

Dynautics has recently conducted a specialized training session for its long-term partner, HydroSurv, aimed at swiftly equipping HydroSurv’s client, Survey Genix, with knowledge about the control systems of their newly acquired REAV-16 Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV).

HydroSurv’s Comprehensive Services

HydroSurv specializes in providing a full spectrum of hydrographic, geophysical, and environmental data collection, processing, and analytical reporting services. Their REAV-16 USV, known for its portability, is engineered for autonomous surveying in both inland waterways and nearshore coastal environments.

Structured Training Approach

The training day, crafted in collaboration with HydroSurv’s CEO David Hull, began with a classroom session. This initial phase allowed participants to control the vessels in a simulated environment, ensuring a safe and controlled learning experience before transitioning to practical, on-water training.

Ongoing Collaboration and Future Developments

since 2019, Dynautics has partnered with HydroSurv to enhance mission management systems for their USVs. together, they are enriching their technological offerings through a comprehensive training and familiarization program. A dedicated HydroSurv REAV-16 USV is currently under construction to facilitate this initiative, which will soon be accessible to all HydroSurv USV clients.
