Southwest Antennas has unveiled two innovative omni-directional antennas designed for UHF and ISM band applications. These antennas are notably well-suited for tactical radio systems, MIMO & MANET radio setups, handheld video receivers, unmanned robotic platforms, and various other uses. They are available with either an Ultra-Flex sealed spring base or a flexible gooseneck base.
The antennas operate within the 902 – 928 MHz frequency range, making them perfect for unlicensed ISM-Band communication networks. These networks are utilized for voice, data, and video transmission, including low-power video links for federal law enforcement surveillance and military communication systems. The Ultra-Flex spring base is designed to withstand all environmental conditions, effectively shielding the antenna from rain, dust, dirt, and mud, while also protecting the RF connectors from damage.
With an operational frequency range of 698 – 970 MHz, these antennas cater to a variety of UHF and ISM applications. They are particularly beneficial for public safety interoperability in the 800 MHz band, facilitating coordination among federal agencies, local law enforcement, and first responders during critical emergency situations.
