SightLine Applications has unveiled the latest software upgrade for its onboard video processing systems designed for UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles) and other unmanned platforms. The newly launched version 3.3.1 introduces crucial enhancements to Non-Uniformity Correction (NUC) and Dead Pixel Removal (DPR), providing notable advantages for integrators working wiht infrared cameras and zoom optics.
Key features of this software update include:
- Major enhancements in detection capabilities, featuring improvements to the blob detection algorithm, the introduction of automatic thresholding, enhanced localized processing and detection, as well as substantially upgraded maritime detection functionalities.
- Refined Custom Classifier capabilities,which now include class filtering,updates to the VMTI chip,and compatibility with python 3.5.
- Ongoing enhancements to the 4000-OEM model, with further advancements in dual-channel processing and support for image blending, effectively narrowing the performance gap with the 3000 model.
- The 3000-OEM model is now capable of operating at 720p/60 in single-channel mode.
- Increased frame rates across all frame sizes in single-channel mode for the 4000 model.
- Expanded support for additional camera models.
