The AF40 unmanned helicopter stands out as a highly dependable solution for various industrial applications, engineered for economical operation and minimal maintenance needs. Constructed from a blend of carbon fiber and metal, it strikes an optimal balance between lightweight design and robust durability, making it suitable for rigorous long-term use in industrial settings. Its sealed main gearbox, featuring heat-treated steel gears, is built to endure the entire lifespan of the aircraft.
This long-endurance platform is equipped with spacious fuel tanks, enabling the base model to achieve nearly two hours of flight time. Additionally, it includes front and rear attachment points, allowing for flexible payload configurations tailored to specific mission demands.
The AF40 is delivered as a bare airframe, devoid of electronics or wiring, although ready-to-fly electronic packages can be supplied upon request. It offers three distinct quick-swappable engine options, all utilizing a gasoline/oil mixture:
- 80cc two-stroke engine
- 125cc four-stroke engine with an onboard starter/generator, providing nearly 3 hours of endurance and a maximum payload capacity of 30 lbs
- 125cc four-stroke engine with an onboard starter/generator and electronic fuel injection (EFI), offering close to 4 hours of endurance and a maximum payload of 30 lbs
