XPand6215 Intel Xeon D-1500 Processor-Based System
Rugged COTS Signal Processing with Xilinx Kintex® Ultrascale™ FPGA
The XPand6215 is a rugged COTS signal processing and computing platform in a 3U VPX form factor, incorporating an Intel Xeon D-1500-based single board computer and a high-performance, reconfigurable FPGA processing module based on the powerful Xilinx Kintex Ultrascale XCKU115. The embedded computer system features multiple fiber optic interfaces for a variety of high-bandwidth, high-speed signal processing applications.

Designed to meet the rigorous standards of MIL-STD-810 and DO-160, the XPand6215 features integrated 28 VDC power and MIL-STD-461 EMI filtering. The embedded modules are internally conduction-cooled, and incorporate sidewall heat exchangers that utilise both convection cooling to the ambient environment and conduction cooling to an attached cold plate.
