Extreme Engineering Solutions Unveils Exciting New Headquarters!

Extreme Engineering Solutions (X-ES), a developer of rugged embedded computing solutions for UAVs and other unmanned systems, has announced

extreme Engineering Solutions (X-ES),a leader in rugged embedded computing solutions tailored for UAVs and various unmanned systems, has officially relocated its corporate headquarters to Verona,Wisconsin. This strategic move aims to support both current operations and future expansion. the new facility, located at 9901 Silicon Prairie Parkway, is approximately six miles from the former headquarters in Middleton, Wisconsin.

The newly established 125,000 sq. ft. facility marks a ample enhancement compared to the previous 50,000 sq. ft. space in Middleton. It offers increased office capacity and upgraded amenities for both employees and clients, including more than double the meeting space. Designed by KEE Architecture, the building features a central atrium and clerestory windows that flood the offices and communal areas with natural light. Spanning 13.8 acres, the site provides ample room for future growth as the company continues to expand.

Almost 50% of the new facility is dedicated to a cutting-edge manufacturing area, where X-ES conducts final product assembly, integration, and rigorous testing. This 60,000 sq. ft. manufacturing space is equipped with temperature, humidity, and ESD controls, making it approximately four times larger than the previous manufacturing area in Middleton. as part of this expansion, X-ES has invested in 165 new workbenches, six advanced thermal chambers for temperature testing, and a new shaker for shock and vibration assessments.

In pursuit of ambitious long-term energy efficiency goals, X-ES collaborated with the Wisconsin Focus on Energy Business Incentive Program to implement technologies and practices aimed at minimizing energy waste. This includes advanced network lighting controls and energy-efficient heating and cooling systems. The projected electricity savings over the lifespan of the equipment is expected to exceed eight million kilowatt hours, while the anticipated lifecycle natural gas savings is equivalent to nearly 49,000 gallons of gasoline.

X-ES continues to partner with third-party contractors for printed circuit board (PCB) fabrication and assembly, and these operations remain unchanged with the relocation. The company maintains a 100% US-based operation, ensuring that all products are designed, manufactured, tested, and supported within the United States.
