Data from the Argos systems can be visualized on an intuitive 3D interface or overlaid on nautical charts, including S57/S63 and C-MAP professional formats. This user-friendly design allows operators to navigate through unfamiliar waters with ease. Additionally, the built-in local history Mapping feature enables users to create a color-coded 3D depiction of the seafloor based on recent navigation. All Argos systems also come equipped with customizable visual and audible alarms for enhanced safety.

Argos 350: Tailored for Versatile Vessels
The Argos 350 Forward Looking Sonar System is specifically designed for vessels measuring between 18 and over 40 meters (60 to 130+ feet). It can detect hazards and obstacles up to 350 meters ahead while operating at speeds of up to 18 knots.
This system equips USV operators with real-time data essential for navigating challenging marine environments, including reefs, shallow wrecks, and icebergs. Beyond obstacle avoidance, the 3D sonar data is invaluable for various mapping and surveying tasks.
The Argos 350 can be installed in two configurations to accommodate different unmanned vessels: a straightforward fixed installation or a hoist installation within a 10-inch diameter sea chest.

Argos 500: Precision for Mid-Size USVs
The Argos 500 3D FLS excels in detecting underwater hazards and obstacles at distances of up to 500 meters, making it suitable for mid-sized USVs that demand high-accuracy collision avoidance and efficient mapping of shallow underwater terrains. It operates effectively at speeds of up to 20 knots.
With a transducer that features no moving parts, the Argos 500 can be seamlessly integrated into both new and retrofitted vessels, as well as custom third-party hoists.

Argos 1000: The Pinnacle of Sonar Technology
The Argos 1000 represents FarSounder’s most advanced Forward Looking Sonar system,capable of detecting hazards and ensuring collision avoidance up to 1000 meters (0.5 nautical miles) ahead, even at speeds of 25 knots.
This system is particularly well-suited for both existing and future large unmanned surface vessels, enabling them to navigate complex environments while significantly minimizing collision risks.
