Gladiator Technologies Releases Next-Generation Inertial Sensors

Gladiator Technologies has launched its new line of upgraded low noise, high speed MEMS inertial sensors.

Gladiator Technologies has launched its new line of upgraded low noise, high speed MEMS inertial sensors. The SX2 product range provides a variety of performance improvements, including 0.075°/s bias over temperature, angle random walk (ARW) as low as 0.0018˚/s/√Hz, and bandwidth of 600 Hz. The new sensors are ideal for a variety of commercial and defense applications including unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) and robotics.

All products in the SX2 line benefit from Gladiator Technologies’ VELOX processing technology, which is designed to drive high-speed filtered outputs without sacrificing gyro and accelerometer sensor performance. VELOX allows the sensors to output data at up to 10 kHz with a digital message delay of less than 100µs.

Gladiator products receiving the SX2 upgrade include the G300D Triaxial Gyroscope, LandMark 005 IMU, and the LandMark 007 and LandMark 007X IMUs designed for high dynamic applications. Each product offers common performance features and unique choices with gyroscope rate up to 2000˚/s and accelerometer range up to 200g.
