Gladiator Technologies has launched a new three-axis digital MEMS accelerometer featuring high dynamic range and ultra-low noise sensors.

Introducing the A300D: A Cutting-Edge Three-Axis Digital MEMS Accelerometer

Gladiator Technologies has unveiled its latest innovation, the A300D, a three-axis digital MEMS accelerometer designed for high dynamic range and minimal noise. This advanced sensor is particularly suited for precision measurement tasks in applications such as unmanned aerial vehicles (uavs) and robotic systems.

Compact Design with Exceptional Performance

Measuring just 0.6 cubic inches and weighing a mere 19.25 grams, the A300D exemplifies low-SWaP (size, weight, and power) technology. It boasts remarkable specifications, including a sensor range of ±40g, a velocity random walk (VRW) of 0.058 mg/√Hz,and a temperature bias of 0.5mg. Each unit undergoes factory calibration across temperature ranges, ensuring reliable performance in challenging environments. Additionally, the accelerometer is equipped with VELOX high-speed processing, which enhances data output, offers advanced filtering options, and maintains extremely low latency.

Part of an Expanding Inertial Sensor Line

The A300D joins Gladiator Technologies’ SX2 inertial sensor series, which also features the G300D Triaxial Gyroscope, LandMark 005 IMU, and the LandMark 007 and LandMark 007X IMUs. This expansion reflects the company’s commitment to providing a comprehensive range of high-performance inertial measurement solutions.

Kyle Hess, a senior engineer at Gladiator Technologies, expressed enthusiasm about the A300D’s low noise capabilities, stating, “We are thrilled with the performance of the A300D. It has surpassed our initial development goals and, as a three-axis digital accelerometer calibrated for temperature variations, it is a standout choice for precision inertial measurement applications.”
