Gladiator Technologies Unveils Enhanced Performance of Rugged G200 Dual Axis Gyro!

Gladiator Technologies announced today release of their improved G200 Dual Axis Gyro.

Introducing the Enhanced G200 Dual Axis Gyro from Gladiator Technologies

Today, Gladiator Technologies unveiled their latest innovation: the G200 Dual Axis Gyro. This state-of-the-art model is a notable advancement over it’s predecessors, the G50Z and G100Z, which have already established a strong reputation in the industry. Designed with a compact form factor and low power requirements, the G200 delivers outstanding performance, even in the harshest conditions.

Key Features of the G200 Dual Axis Gyro

The G200 joins Gladiator’s lineup of analog output gyros and accelerometers, boasting superior noise and bias characteristics. It excels in temperature stability, low misalignment, and minimal g-sensitivity. Some of the standout features of the G200 include:

  • Ultra Low Gyro Noise: 0.002°/sec/√Hz
  • Short term Gyro Bias: 4°/hour 1σ
  • Temperature-Dependent Bias: ≤ 0.1°/sec 1σ
  • Axis Misalignment: < 4mrad 1σ
  • G-Sensitivity: < 0.005°/sec/g 1σ
  • Low Power Consumption: < 10 mA typical
  • Bipolar Output Signal
  • Lightweight Design: 18 grams
  • Single-Sided Power Supply: +5V
  • Bandwidth: 200Hz
  • Environmentally Sealed
  • Voltage Output
  • Integrated Temperature Sensor
  • Self-Test Capability
  • Shock Resistance: 500g
  • Vibration Tolerance: 6gRMS
  • high meen Time Between Failures (MTBF)
  • Export Classification: ECCN 7A994 (NLR)

CEO Insights on the G200

Mark Chamberlain, CEO of Gladiator Technologies, expressed enthusiasm about the G200, stating, “Our high-performance gyros, characterized by ultra-low noise, provide remarkable bias stability across temperature variations while maintaining rugged durability. The G200 is designed for dual-axis pitch and roll stabilization in compact applications that demand high performance in challenging environments. Additionally, it features a straightforward analog output.” He further noted, “The G200 is just the beginning; we have a series of advanced ultra-low noise MEMS products set to launch early next year. We are thrilled about our innovative technology and our position as a leader in the high-performance MEMS inertial market.”
