Introducing the LandMark™ 50: A Leap in Inertial Measurement Technology
Gladiator Technologies has unveiled it’s latest and most advanced Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), the LandMark™ 50. This cutting-edge device builds on the established legacy of the company’s low-noise LandMark™ IMU series, which includes models such as the LandMark™ 10, 20, 21, 22, 30, and 40. While the LandMark™ 50 is designed to be form, fit, and function compatible with the LandMark™ 30, it considerably enhances performance through the integration of superior MEMS gyroscopes and accelerometers that deliver lower noise levels.
seamless Integration and Versatile Options
All models in the LandMark™ IMU series utilize a unified messaging protocol, promoting a “common cockpit” strategy. This allows users to select an IMU that aligns with their specific needs regarding performance, dimensions, weight, and cost, all without the necessity of modifying existing IMU interface software. The LandMark™ 50 not only maintains the feature-rich benefits of its predecessors but also boasts industry-leading gyro and accelerometer noise and bias specifications. Additionally, it is equipped with robust environmental sealing for electromagnetic interference (EMI) protection and offers user-selectable RS485 data rates of up to 500Hz, with an internal sampling rate of 4KHz, making it ideal for applications where size and weight are critical factors.
