Greensea IQ is poised to showcase the innovative features of its Bayonet 350 Autonomous Underwater Ground Vehicle (AUGV) during a live demonstration on June 23, 2025, specifically designed for the commercial dredging and marine construction industries.
Taking place at North beach, adjacent to the hotel del Coronado in San diego, this event precedes the 24th World Dredging Congress and Exposition, marking the inaugural public display of the Bayonet 350 in action.
The Bayonet 350 is engineered to excel in challenging surf and swash zones where customary survey platforms often falter. It provides a dependable solution for intricate nearshore environments, delivering high-accuracy geospatial data through an advanced array of survey sensors and positioning technologies, all seamlessly integrated into Greensea IQ’s modular open architecture autonomy platform.
Rob Howard, Chief Growth Officer at Greensea IQ, remarked, “This represents a significant leap forward in shoreline survey capabilities. The demonstration will highlight a safer and more efficient method for operating in challenging environments where data precision and operator safety are critical. attendees will gain an in-depth understanding of the Bayonet 350’s ability to execute complex positioning and survey tasks in the surf zone, ensuring precise data collection with a state-of-the-art suite of survey sensors and positioning technologies.”
With its robust all-terrain mobility and real-time autonomous navigation, the Bayonet 350 is designed to facilitate a variety of essential tasks, including pre-dredge surveys, environmental data gathering, seafloor obstacle identification, and monitoring project progress in shallow coastal areas.
During the live demonstration, the vehicle will launch from the shore and autonomously navigate the seafloor while collecting actionable data, offering invited guests a firsthand experience of its operational capabilities.
Following the demonstration, a networking lunch will be held on-site, providing attendees with the chance to interact with greensea IQ’s team and discover how the Bayonet 350 can improve efficiency and safety in nearshore dredging and construction initiatives.
