Greensea IQ to Present Autonomous EverClean Robot at Ocean Business 2025

Greensea IQ will introduce its hybrid EverClean Inspection Robot at Ocean Business 2025, showcasing advanced capabilities for underwater asset inspection and data collection

Greensea IQ to Present Autonomous EverClean Robot at Ocean Business 2025

Greensea IQ is set to debut its EverClean Inspection Robot at Ocean Business 2025, taking place April 8–10 in Southampton, UK. The system will be on display at Stand #L13.

The EverClean Inspection Robot is a standalone, commercially available solution engineered specifically for underwater inspections. It is built on the same reliable platform as the EverClean hull cleaning robot, offering a dependable option for ship operators, service providers, ports, and infrastructure managers seeking consistent, repeatable in-water inspection capabilities.

Fitted with integrated cameras, ultrasonic thickness sensors, and forward-looking sonar, the robot delivers both visual and structural assessments of submerged assets. It is purpose-built to capture data that supports maintenance scheduling, asset health monitoring, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

A key differentiator of the EverClean Inspection Robot is its hybrid inspection mode, combining both stable surface-crawling and free movement in the water column. This allows it to conduct thorough surveys on extensive flat surfaces while also maneuvering around more complex geometries.

The system operates using a non-magnetic attractor system, making it compatible with various hull materials and coatings. Its track-based mobility ensures effective performance on flat or moderately contoured surfaces, while complex geometries can still be assessed using high-resolution imaging and sonar imagery. The system is suited for a diverse range of underwater targets, such as hull plating, weld seams, tunnel thrusters, sea chests, and underwater infrastructure such as pilings, piers, and offshore platforms.

Rob Howard, Chief Growth Officer at Greensea IQ, commented, “With the EverClean Inspection Robot, we’re offering a new hybrid platform capable of both crawling and in-water flight, which greatly enhances underwater inspection capabilities. It’s an exciting new tool for inspecting vessels, civil infrastructure, and other submerged structures—delivering unmatched access and data collection in challenging environments.”

Ocean Business attendees are invited to visit Stand #L13 to see the EverClean Inspection Robot up close and speak with Greensea IQ engineers and sales staff about use cases, data workflows, and integration options.
