PDW’s C100 sUAS: A Game Changer for the U.S. Army
PDW has been chosen to supply its premier C100 Group 2 sUAS to meet the U.S. Army’s urgent need for Company-Level sUAS capabilities.
Enhancing Operational Effectiveness
The C100 will be deployed across various Army units, significantly improving fire support and maneuverability in challenging and competitive environments.
Meeting the medium-Range Reconnaissance Requirement
This advanced sUAS aligns with the Army’s medium-range reconnaissance (MRR) objectives, offering a modular,Soldier-portable vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) system. It is designed to deliver a range of functionalities, including reconnaissance, surveillance, target acquisition, interaction relay, and both kinetic and non-kinetic payload delivery.
Compact and Versatile Design
Weighing in at a mere 21 pounds and compact enough to fit into a standard rucksack, the C100 quadcopter allows units to deploy aerial support organically. This capability enables precision strikes and intelligence gathering without relying on manned aircraft or external fire support.
Leadership Insights
ryan Gury, CEO and Co-founder of PDW, remarked, “This recognition reflects the relentless effort and commitment of our entire team. The impact of quadcopters on the battlefield is undeniable, showcasing agility, precision, and tactical versatility that are reshaping modern combat.”
“The C100 minimizes dependence on external fire support, empowering maneuver forces with decentralized and dispersed capabilities. We are privileged to be selected for the Army’s Company Level sUAS Direct Requirement, where the C100 will introduce groundbreaking capabilities.”
Innovating Defence Technology
PDW stands at the forefront of defense technology innovation. From developing tactical, jam-resistant radio systems in partnership with SOCOM to creating simulation software that enhances operator training and planning, PDW is pioneering advancements in small robotic technologies.
empowering Warfighters
General (Ret.) Tony thomas, former SOCOM Commander and current PDW Chairman, stated, “PDW is providing essential capabilities that equip warfighters with the tools they need to excel and survive in the most challenging conditions.”
Gury further emphasized,“the C100 system represents a meaningful evolution in modern maneuver forces. As we transition into a new era of small robotics in warfare, PDW is proud to play a role in the revitalization of American defense robotics.”
