Introducing HYWINGS: A Breakthrough in UAV Technology

H3 Dynamics, a pioneer in robotics innovation, has unveiled HYWINGS, a hand-launchable Fixed Wing Unmanned aerial Vehicle (UAV) that boasts extraordinary flight capabilities, including durations of up to 10 hours and operational ranges reaching 500 kilometers.

Weighing in at just 7 kilograms at takeoff,HYWINGS is designed to efficiently cover extensive areas without the need for traditional catapult launchers or runways,which are often necessary for larger and more costly UAV systems. This efficiency not onyl minimizes field operation time but also significantly lowers costs for users.

For manufacturers in the UAV sector, HYWINGS serves as a practical exhibition of advanced technology in action, effectively reducing the time spent on laboratory testing. This accelerates the development process and expedites the path to market for new products.

Moreover, HYWINGS represents a significant advancement toward the development of larger UAV platforms. With ongoing enhancements to its technology and innovative aircraft designs, H3 Dynamics envisions the potential for electric flight durations ranging from 50 to 80 hours, applicable to both unmanned and manned aircraft.

HYWINGS is part of an expanding portfolio at H3 Dynamics, which also features HYCOPTER, a hydrogen-electric multi-rotor drone, and DRONEBOX, a remote drone charging station capable of self-sustaining operations in the field for up to two years.

the aerospace-grade fuel cell technology utilized in HYWINGS is a result of a decade-long development by HES Energy systems, a subsidiary of H3 dynamics. This technology is notably 3 to 5 times lighter then conventional lithium batteries. HES Energy Systems is currently focused on creating portable refueling systems tailored for HYWINGS and HYCOPTER. Unlike larger refueling stations that can accommodate up to 300 kWh for hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, these new compact systems will be able to refill 1 kWh storage tanks, providing enough energy for HYWINGS to operate for six hours.
