Tulip Tech, a high-tech battery innovator based in the Neatherlands, has revealed a major leap forward in UAV endurance with the integration of its new high-density 39Ah battery pack into the Acecore Technologies Noa drone.

Delivering an energy density of 360 Wh/kg, the advanced lithium battery has achieved flight time increases of up to 63%, unlocking significantly greater range and productivity for demanding drone missions.

Field testing demonstrated dramatic endurance gains across payload classes. With a 1 kg payload, flight time increased by 40%, while a 6 kg payload saw a 63% improvement. This offers a game-changing enhancement for UAVs operating in inspection, land surveying, and remote data collection roles.

Flight Time for Demanding Applications

The Acecore Noa is a versatile drone platform widely used for infrastructure inspections, geospatial data capture, and surveying in hard-to-reach environments. By nearly eliminating the need for mid-mission battery changes or multiple sorties, the upgrade allows drone operators to cover more ground, reduce downtime, and maximize payload utilization within a single flight.

For industries where aerial data is vital and access is limited, such as power line inspections, large-area mapping, and critical site monitoring, increased endurance translates to lower operating costs and more actionable data per flight.

High Cycle Life Reduces Cost of Ownership

In addition to performance gains, Tulip Tech’s battery is designed for long-term durability, with internal testing confirming around 600 charge cycles per pack. This significantly reduces the frequency of replacements and lowers the total cost of ownership, particularly important for UAV fleets operating at scale.
